This Alpine Winter Holidays site was built to promote the various chalets available. A simple booking form was added along with an availability calendar for each chalet which can be planned two years ahead.
The site is fully responsive and all content is manged by the client. Plans include multilingual translation.
The client wanted a showcase website to "show off" their products and engage the visitor from the start. Product pages were utilised from the Drupal commerce module suite in order to easily switch on purchasing at a later date.
The site has gained enquiries from the UK and Europe due to its SEO friendly modules allowing setting of page titles, meta description and social media open graph tags.
This eCommerce website content was created using the feeds module to speed up the setup process - importing 100s of products in just a few minutes.
Visitors can download product data sheet PDFs that are dynamically generated so data is never out of date.
The search system is powered by facetted search modules so as a user drills down into the filters there are no dead ends with zero results. Users can also remove filters as they go so can constantly tweak the products shown.
Both products and events are promoted using the commerce and entity registration modules. Site visitors can book themselves onto various events and training programmes, attendees can then be broadcast to from the admin section at any time. Auto event reminders are sent out triggered by the number of days before the event.
A user forum helps to create "stickiness" and promote the business as an authority figure in the sector.
This was a fun project. We created a mobile first community voting website using the flag and other modules so that visitors could vote up to 12 times across various categories and venues.
Rules ensured people could not "over vote" for a single venue and messages of encouragement were displayed after hitting certain numbers.
The site was a great success attracting over 30,000 votes and has been running for 3 years now.
